Who cares about flying?

In a recent conference, on a round table, one comment was made that resonated with me.

No one wants to fly.

Who has ever said that they can’t wait to board a flight to get somewhere? They just want to arrive and enjoy their destination.

Until we can teleport, I suspect there’s a need, but the point is valid. A flight is a means to reach a destination.

I think in some way this is true, but it depends on how often you fly. Until I was taking flights once every 1-2 months, I was happy with economy but now that I’ve experienced better, the experience matters.
